Use: for external use only (never ingest), suitable for fragrance burner/diffuser, diluted in a fragrance-neutral carrier oil in the (foot)bath and on the skin (undiluted essential oil can irritate sensitive skin).
Amyris essential oil is also known as West Indian sandalwood oil because the scent is reminiscent of sandalwood. It is obtained by steam distillation from the bark and branches of the Amyris balsamifera tree. Due to its high oil content, this wood burns on its own, like a candle, and is therefore called candlewood by the local population. It is a less expensive alternative to pure sandalwood.
This oil has been used to clean wounds and to treat colds and diarrhea. It is said to be highly effective in relieving bladder infections and vaginal infections. When used in a vaporizer, it helps reduce anxiety and sensation, and works as an aphrodisiac, alleviating impotence and frigidity. It is used to treat coughs, colds, and bronchitis. The calming properties are said to aid meditation. It is also a muscle relaxant and soothing agent.
The botanical origin of the tree that produced this oil was unknown until 1886, when the main differences between this plant and true sandalwood were established by microscopic examination of the leaves. The Amyris balsamifera tree grows wild in Haiti.

Your order will be processed on the same day during office hours. Deliveries are usually made from Monday to Friday. In most cases, orders placed on Fridays are processed and shipped on Monday.
Shipping costs
Orders over €50 are shipped free of charge within Europe. For orders under €50, we charge a fixed shipping rate of €4.95 for deliveries within Europe. Shipping costs for deliveries outside Europe are always €19.95.
Repurposed packaging
There is already a huge amount of packaging in circulation worldwide. Orders from pranina.com are therefore packed in existing packaging that is reused. This means we do not introduce any new waste into circulation.
The reused packaging is not always perfect, but we consider reducing waste much more important than having a beautiful shipping box.
Delivery & processing times
After placing your order, the products will be shipped within 1 to 3 business days. The products are shipped from our European warehouse in Slovakia. Delivery times within Europe may vary. Delivery to the Netherlands and Belgium usually takes within 6 business days.
Track & Trace
We will keep you informed during the shipping process via email notifications. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your package's tracking number. You can use this number to track the shipment with the delivery company mentioned in the email.
