Singing Bowl Set Five Buddha 10cm
The number five has enormous significance in almost all Buddhist traditions. It refers to the colors, the five senses, the five wisdoms, the five elements. All of this is expressed in the five Buddha singing bowl. In recent years, 'mindfulness' has become very popular. But the very first information about this mindfulness system of the five Buddhas already played a role in the 6th century AD when Buddhism was slowly introduced to Tibet. That is why this five Buddha Singing Bowl will help with mindfulness meditations. According to Tibetan tradition, the existence of singing bowls dates back to the time of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni (560-480 BC). The tradition was brought from India to Tibet in the 8th century AD. Singing bowls produce sounds that evoke a state of relaxation that naturally helps with meditation. They are an essential tool for meditation and can be found in Buddhist altars in temples, monasteries, and yoga studios all over the world. This singing bowl was handmade in Nepal by traditional artisans.
