Rosemary oil is known for its sensational effect on our memory performance. Researchers are even fascinated by its effects on Alzheimer's disease and dementia and are the subject of numerous projects. Its effect on our spiritual well-being helps with: listlessness, mental exhaustion, concentration and memory disorders, depression, and fatigue. Rosemary oil promotes blood circulation, helps against hair loss, strengthens the hair follicles, and also helps with circulatory disorders.
The essential oil of the Rosemary herb is steam distilled from the flowers, stems, and leaves of the plant. According to the British Pharmacopoeia, the oil distilled from the flowering tops is superior to the oil obtained from the stem and leaves, from which almost all commercial oil is distilled.
The scent of essential rosemary oil is woody and spicy and is used in aromatherapy to refresh and stimulate the mind. This oil is useful in the treatment of wounds, burns, colds, flu, fatigue, digestive problems, headaches, asthma, bronchitis, gout, rheumatism, liver and gallbladder problems, water retention, and poor circulation.
For a massage, rosemary oil is often mixed with one or two carrier oils such as almond, apricot kernel, or hazelnut oil. It is good for the hair because it increases blood circulation to the scalp and promotes hair growth.
Never use this oil internally and avoid it if you are pregnant or suffer from high blood pressure or epilepsy.
Rosemary was already known in ancient times and was used in ancient times. It was believed that rosemary improved memory, so it became a symbol of fidelity and was used at weddings, funerals, and other religious ceremonies. A sprig of rosemary was beautifully tied with ribbons and handed to the wedding guests as a symbol of love and fidelity. Hungarian water, made from fresh rosemary tops that were soaked in wine for a few days, was made for the queen of Hungary and is said to have cured her of paralysis.
